AeroPel TechnologyA Better Chinatown Association is spearheading a better future for Honolulu’s Chinatown.
Revitalizing one of the oldest Chinatowns in the United States
The mission of A Better Chinatown Association (ABCA) is to spearhead the construction of the new Honolulu Chinatown arches, to promote revitalization and economic development activities, and to work closely with the City & County of Honolulu to maintain a safe and clean Chinatown for generations to come. Attention Lab Marketing is working with ABCA on two fronts: to establish and maintain social media presence during the project, and to provide graphic design for elements of the first Chinatown Arch.
Attention Lab worked alongside ABCA’s project leader, Eddie Flores, Jr., to establish brand social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube as planning built towards the project’s groundbreaking ceremony on February 28th, 2026. The social media channels will serve as ABCA’s public facing owned media platforms once constructions begins, showcasing project background, honorees, construction progress, and more. Additionally, Attention Lab contributed graphic design work for the pedestal bases of the first Kekaulike Archway, designing eight panels which will be engraved to honor the history, ABCA team members, and many donors to the project. The eight panels will sit just above eight murals which surround each four-sided pillar bases. The murals were done by a local Honolulu artist and will honor the Chinese immigrants who arrived in Honolulu and established what is now one of the oldest the Chinatown districts in the United States.
