My name is James Andrews, founder of Attention Lab. I’m a marketing and communications professional with 18+ years working across owned, earned, and paid media, spanning both agency and in-house environments.

My career has taken me from Colorado to London, UK and Frankfurt, Germany, and now Hawaii—where, from 2017-2025 I led an in-house marketing team focused on brand communications and media for a well-established science & technology firm. My expertise includes content strategy, branding, advertising, public relations, SEO and AI-driven content, social media, and multichannel strategy, and team leadership.

I founded Attention Lab Marketing at the beginning of 2026 as I saw the digital media landscape shifting away from follower-driven feeds towards interest-driven algorithms. Gone are the days of highly polished social and news feeds - creators and brands are now reaching audiences without large follower counts through continuous iterative content. “Big ad campaigns” and huge advertising spends are having less impact as the traditional broadcast audience shifts online.

Attention Lab Marketing is my answer to an attention era that demands new agility.
